I’ve been volunteering as a drone pilot for DroneSAR for Lost Dogs UK for a few years now. I’m currently using a DJI Mavic 3T thermal drone when searching for lost dogs.
Searching for lost dogs is very much a team effort, I work with some amazing volunteer ground searchers, trappers and other drone pilots to find lost dogs in North Norfolk. As you will see in the video, there’s a lot of wildlife in our county and a lot of the work is being able to identify what each of the many heat sources are.
